Mia Falk

Mia’s career spans three decades, primarily in the field of anti-corruption and economic crime and compliance. She has worked as a police officer and a criminal investigator, for, amongst others, the Swedish Economic Crime Authority and the Swedish Police’s Financial Intelligence Unit and National Anti-Corruption Unit. Mia spent over seven years conducting international investigations with Europol and the United Nations, before moving to the corporate sector, initially with KPMG where she conducted internal investigations and anti-corruption compliance, and then with Scania Group, where she headed up the investigative function.

Prior to establishing Falk & Kjellstand Advokater with Per, she headed up the Investigations & Corporate Crime practice at the Swedish Tier 1 business law firm Vinge.

Mia’s experience in investigations from her time in law enforcement, with international organisations, and with the corporate sector gives her a wide-ranging perspective on economic crime, corruption and internal misconduct. She is top ranked by Chambers & Partners in the area of Corporate Investigations, Europe, and in 2025, she was included in Global Investigation Review’s list of the world’s top 100 female investigators.
